Don't Ignore Your Hair Whilst in Braids
Posted by Main Admin on
We've all gotten to a point where sometimes all we want to do is just braid our hair and do away with the stress of taking care of it. Well, it's not as easy as it seems. Your hair still needs to be taken care of whilst in braids. How do you do that?
Moisturize your hair daily
At this point, we're sure you're tired of the word 'moisturize'. Don't be! Moisturizing your hair whilst in braids in very necessary. All you need is your Aloe Vera Hair Mist, Leave-In-Lotion and Shea Butter or any Hair Oil of your choice. Spray the Aloe Vera Hair Mist on your hair (to the point where your hair ends), follow it up with the Leave In Lotion and Shea Butter. Style as desired.
Massage your scalp daily
A lot of us put on braids so our hair can grow. To aid hair growth, massage your scalp daily for 5 to 10 minutes with any hair oil of your choice. Some prefer castor oil and others prefer coconut oil. You can also use the Hair Growth Oil from Eya Naturals. Gently massage the oil unto your scalp and style as desired.
Use Anti Itch Spray to ease itching
Although braids look nice and relatively easier to manage, it can get very uncomfortable sometimes especially if you have dry scalp. This is why we advise that you use the Anti-Itch Spray daily. If you have severe dandruff, then the Dry Scalp Anti-Itch Spray is for you. Just spray a little bit of it on your scalp and massage into hair gently. You're done.
The temptation to keep braids in for a long time is very real. Snap out of this temptation. Keep braids in for a maximum of 3 to 4 weeks and then take them out.
