Natural Hair Tools You Need In Your Tool Box

Posted by Main Admin on

Apart from genes and great products, the tools you use on your hair plays a key role in its general health. As a naturalista and an eyanista for that matter, there are some hair care tools you should definitely have in your toolbox. Not only do they make taking care of the hair easier but fun as well.

Wide tooth comb

This is a giving. You really need to have a wide tooth comb in your tool box. Why? It makes the detangling process smoother and simpler. Plus, you lose little to no hair at all compared to using other kinds of combs. Since we've touched on detangling, here's a tip - never detangle or comb dry hair. Always moisturize first.

Bobby pins

You really need to stock up on bobby pins because they have 'wings'. No matter the number you have available, they keep getting lost for some reason. It is essential in your toolbox for styling purposes. Bobby pins do a great job of holding your hair together when used. Keep them handy and rock your styles with pride.

Hair brush

A detangling brush does magic on your hair especially during washing. The key is to use it after applying your Detangling Conditioner. Detangle your hair in sections and start from the ends of your hair through to the roots.

Satin/silk bonnet or scarf

Satin/silk bonnet or scarf ought to be in your toolbox. It's a great tool for protecting your hair especially at night from unnecessary tucks. Ideally, moisturize your hair before wearing the bonnet or scarf.

Treatment cap (shower cap)

Enough of the polythene bags. Get yourself a bunch of shower caps. These are great for use during Deep Conditioning or Protein Treatments or any kind of treatment which requires the use of heat. You can also use the shower caps for its intended purposes - whilst taking a shower.

Spray bottle

Moisture should be part of every naturalista. This is where your spray bottle comes in. You can go the DIY way with water, leave in lotion (or detangling conditioner) and your hair oils. Alternatively, you can grab the Aloe Vera Hair Mist or Hair and Scalp Spray and you're good to go. Moisturizing on the go just got easier.

Of course, there are other tools you might need for your hair. These are just a few essentials you need. The natural hair journey is beautiful. Enjoy the process. For further hair consultation, please do not hesitate to contact Eya Naturals on +233 204 600 464 or +233 59 237 7008 @eyanaturals on Facebook and Instagram.
